I had a mixed experience at the Golden Nugget. While the location is fantastic right on Fremont Street and the pool area is a highlight, my room left much to be desired with issues like a musty smell and leaking toilet. The dining options were decent, but I found some meals overpriced and underwhelming. Overall, it didn't quite live up to my expectations from last year.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, my room was musty and had a significant sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink. For the price we paid, I expected much better amenities.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were nice, I had encounters with others who seemed overwhelmed and rude, acting like they were doing me a favor for every little request.
Location
9.0
The location is great, right in the heart of Fremont Street where there's always something happening, which I really enjoyed.
Dining
6.0
The dining options could be improved as I found breakfast to be overpriced and not very satisfying. The Italian restaurant was a highlight, though.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area is a definite plus, featuring an aquarium and being well-maintained, but other facilities may need improvement to match the hype.

7.8/10

My stay at the Golden Nugget was a great experience overall. The hotel's location on Fremont Street was perfect for exploring the area, and the room was spacious and clean. However, be prepared for extra fees if you're a smoker, and the noise levels from Fremont Street can be a bit much at times, especially during evening performances. The facilities, particularly the adult pool area, are really nice and relaxing, making it a worthwhile stay.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and modern, with a spacious layout, although some of the amenities felt dated, like the bedside clock and television.
Service
6.0
The service could use some improvement; I noticed a lack of attentiveness during check-in which led to longer wait times than expected.
Location
9.0
Located right on Fremont Street, the hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, making it very convenient for entertainment.
Dining
7.0
While the dining options were decent, some restaurants had limited hours which caused a bit of inconvenience during my visit.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities, particularly the adult pool area, were wonderful for relaxation, providing a calm atmosphere away from the busier areas of the hotel.

5.0/10

Our stay at the hotel was disappointing. While the location was convenient for Fremont attractions, the room quality did not meet our expectations given the price we paid. We encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance that made our experience unpleasant. Overall, we feel we did not get the value for money we anticipated.

Rooms
5.0
The room was poorly maintained, with a cigarette scent lingering and overall cleanliness issues. The plumbing problems were frustrating, and the room looked dated and lacked basic amenities.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, as we had to repeatedly address issues, and there was little follow-up on our complaints. Overall, it felt like attention to guest needs was not a priority.
Location
7.0
The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, making it easy to access Fremont Street and nearby attractions, although the area can feel a bit rough.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were subpar for the price. The quality did not match our expectations, and we left feeling unsatisfied with our meals.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were disappointing. The plumbing issues and maintenance of the room and common areas left a lot to be desired.

6.2/10

We had a wonderful time at the hotel, particularly enjoying the pool area and the friendly service from the staff. However, the dining options left a lot to be desired, and the location isn't ideal for accessing the main attractions easily. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are some areas that could definitely be improved.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, although I had to call for towels and toilet paper during my stay. It was quite far from the elevator as well, which was inconvenient.
Service
6.0
Service was hit or miss; while some staff were lovely and helpful, there were moments when they seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than assisting guests in need.
Location
5.0
The hotel is a bit far from key attractions, which made getting around a hassle. It’s located near some nice shopping areas, but you’ll need transportation for main spots.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown, especially with the high prices for lower-quality food. My kids mostly wanted cereal, which was frustrating given the cost.
Facilities
8.0
The pool area was fantastic—definitely a highlight of our stay. However, the hours were a bit limited considering the hot weather.

I had high hopes for my stay at the Golden Nugget, but it was disappointing overall. The noise from Fremont Street made it nearly impossible to sleep, and I was misled about the pool's availability. While the room itself was modern and clean, the overall value for the experience didn’t meet my expectations. I loved the vibe of the casino, but after the noise issues and service glitches, I’m not sure I would return.

Rooms
7.0
The room in the RUSH tower was modern and clean but suffered from excessive noise levels.
Service
5.0
The service was decent, but my complaint about the noise was addressed insufficiently.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located right on Fremont Street, which is lively but extremely noisy at night.
Dining
Facilities

The outdoor pool was closed during my stay, which was a significant letdown.
